Die Bedeutung der vorwärtsgerichteten Sonartechnologie liegt im Verhältnis zwischen Tiefe und Reichweite. Das FLS 3D hat ein atemberaubendes Verhältnis von 20 x Tiefe! Das bedeutet, dass Sie 100 Meter weit sehen können, wenn sich nur 5 Meter Wasser unter Ihrem Boot befinden. Dies ist das höchste Verhältnis in der vorwärtsgerichteten Sonartechnologie! Das vorwärtsgerichtete Sonar FLS 3D verfügt über die bahnbrechende Technologie des vorwärtsgerichteten Sonars in Echtzeit. Die Anzeige wird jede Sekunde aktualisiert, so dass der Kapitän immer auf dem neuesten Stand ist, was das Terrain auf dem Meeresgrund und mögliche Gefahren vor ihm betrifft.

Geber

Das FLS 3D ist mit zwei einziehbaren Schwimmern ausgestattet, um unabhängig von der Rumpfform eine vollständige Abdeckung nach vorne zu gewährleisten. Die Sicht nach vorn beträgt 60 Grad in der horizontalen Ebene und über 90 Grad in der vertikalen Ebene. Die Vorwärtsreichweite beträgt bis zu 200 m und 100 m Tiefe.

Die Geber sind in zwei Größen erhältlich: 5" und 10", abhängig von der Größe des Schiffsrumpfes. Die Schwinger werden mit drei verschiedenen Arten von Außenhautbeschlägen geliefert, um sicherzustellen, dass sie für jeden Rumpf geeignet sind. Sie können je nach Rumpf zwischen Bronze, Edelstahl oder Aluminium wählen. Die Lieferung erfolgt standardmäßig mit Rumpfhülsen aus Bronze. Die Hülsen aus Edelstahl oder Aluminium sind ausschließlich auf Anfrage verfügbar.

Anzeigeoptionen

Das FLS 3D ist eine Blackbox-Lösung die mit unterschiedlichen Anzeigen betrieben werden. Es können alle Anzeigen mit HDMI- oder VGA-Videoeingang angeschlossen werden. Optional ist auch der Betrieb mit S-Video, Composite-Video und DVI mithilfe eines Konverters möglich (nicht Teil des Lieferumfangs). In diesem Fall wird das System mit einer Fernbedienung kombiniert (Teil des Lieferumfangs) wodurch die Steuerung des angezeigten Inhaltes durchgeführt wird.

Des Weiteren kann das FLS 3D direkt in die Axiom-Displays von Raymarine integriert werden und einfach über ein RJ45-zu-Raynet-Kabel an das Raynet-Netzwerk eingebunden werden. Sobald die Verbindung hergestellt ist, erscheint die EchoPilot-App auf dem Axiom-Display, so dass der Benutzer das vorwärtsgerichtete Sonar in Echtzeit auf seinem Display sehen kann. Das Display bietet eine doppelte Anzeige von Seekarten und vorausschauendem Sonar zur gleichen Zeit und kann für den ultimativen Komfort auch im geteilten Bildschirm verwendet werden. Wenn das FLS 3D an das Axiom-Display angeschlossen ist, können die Benutzer das 3D-Bild per Berührung um 360 Grad drehen und die Zoomfunktion nutzen. Dies ermöglicht eine genauere Betrachtung des Meeresbodens und mögliche Gefahren werden in Echtzeit angezeigt. Bei dieser Variante befindet sich die Fernbedienung nicht im Lieferumfang, da die Bedienung wie beschrieben über das Axiom durchgeführt wird. Das System ist aber trotzdem um die Fernbedienung erweiterbar.
